In this new train sound pack, you'll discover a collection of classic trains recorded near Bandarawela, a pivotal point between the major lines of Kandy and Colombo.

Each day, 10 trains navigate this hilly landscape, transporting tourists, locals, postal items, and various logistic goods.
We spent two days recording these trains close to the tracks, which are as distinctive as the old trains themselves, with a wide gauge that is rare and only found in a few countries.

You can hear trains passing near railway crossings, over a metal bridge, and the sounds of arrival and departure at the Bandarawela train station. Additionally, we recorded a distant train from inside a tunnel with a running river, using the Geofon to record the vibrations of the trains.

Moreover, we recorded a mechanical bell at a railway crossing directly linked to the train station with the sound of the train slowly departing the station while pedestrians and traffic waits

This sound library is rare, offering sounds not commonly found. Especially sound libraries from Sri Lanka.
