Ferryboat and Seagulls Sound Effects Korea

Recently, I found myself in Seoul, staying on Yeongjong Island, home to Incheon Airport. Inspired by Incheon's vast urban landscape, I decided to explore. A highlight was Wolmi Do Park, a scenic spot connected to Yeongjongdo and Wolmido by ferry. The 30-minute ferry ride presented an opportunity to record a variety of sounds.
Seagulls, drawn to the ferry terminal by passengers' food, provided a lively audio backdrop. Onboard, I captured a medley of sounds, including the engine, exhaust, waves against the ship, and the ambience of the waiting room.

Even the doors, crew announcements, and the radio voice, with its unique and nostalgic tone, added to the soundscape.

My impromptu recording session concluded at the next terminal, with the sound of seagulls and waves against the concrete. I wrapped up just as a crew member politely notified me that the ferry was set to return.
