Snow Footstep Sound Effects Library

We recently had the opportunity to put the new Earthworks QTC 50 microphone to the test in Morioka, Japan.

Nestled beside a tranquil river and surrounded by the distant hum of traffic, I set out to record the crisp and unique sounds of footsteps in snow and on ice.

As I recorded my steps I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder. The Earthworks QTC 50 is a true work of art, allowing me to record every nuance and detail of the footsteps and soundscapes around me.

With its omnidirectional capabilities, I was able to record not only the sounds of my own footsteps, but also the ambient background noise of the environment.

The microphone's frequency range of up to 90kHz truly sets it apart, making these sounds absolutely perfect for sound design and music production.

These sounds may not be ideal if you're looking for clean footstep recordings, but I can't wait for you to experiment with them. Load them into your DAW and play around with different plugins to manipulate the sounds in new and exciting ways.
