We spent one week in Cappadocia and I was able to pick up the sounds of several hot air balloons from the ground. Before the balloons took off, I could record additional sound effects such as the bursts of fire, the crew filling the balloon with air and gas, and also the passengers while they were getting into the basket and then left again later. Other tourists near me watched and chatted during the flights of the balloons in the distance. The crew was hectic all the time and I was able to record walkie talkie communications as well.

Recorded early morning in Sunset Valley and Love Valley in Cappadocia, Turkey.
