Bangkok Ambience | TASCAM X8 Sound Sample Library

We released a new "real world" test video of the Tascam X8 on our YouTube channel here in Bangkok so come along with us while recording new sounds in this mega city.

This is the sound sample library of the recordings we showcase in the video but included many more. You can download, review and use 51 recordings around 10GB in size.

We used the Lom Geofon, the Ambient Hydrophone and also the Sennheiser MKH 8040 besides the onboard capsules just to get different sound variations.

Aside from having all those recordings on Bandcamp, you've probably noticed that Bandcamp doesn't support 32-bit files and automatically converts them to 24-bit and erased the metadata.

For these reasons we created a new Gumroad account and added another 30 recordings, all in 32-bit and written metadata.

The Tascam has some issues and I hope they solve these problems. Thank you for your continued support and more sound libraries are coming soon!
